Yin Yoga is a quiet and meditative practice that focuses on long holds in passive postures. As a style of practice, it has become increasingly popular and a wonderful alternative to dynamic (yang) forms of yoga.
Our Yin training is delivered by Yin Yoga teacher Stephen Byrne who in addition to studying Yin Yoga with Paul Grilley is an experienced Yoga Therapist and 4th Year Physio student. He has an extraordinary ability to communicate the anatomy of Yin to Yoga teachers in a meaningful way.
Together these weekends will have you ready to dive deep into offering new styles of classes.
March 1-3 Module One: Yin Yoga Foundations
Explore key foundational postures and theories of Yin. This is where you begin your journey with teaching Yin and understanding the place of Yin yoga in the modern world of yoga. Explore the differences from more dynamic practices and how they might impact your teaching.
