It is held online via Zoom for anyone living in Australia.Attendees will develop skills in self-advocacy- learn how to speak up- build lasting friendships with peers and create stronger connections to the deaf community.Our inspiring mentors are Deaf Children Australia's Youth Support Workers. They have lived experience and are passionate about supporting young people. They have the knowledge and skills to help attendees build self-esteem to help them reach their goals.Both Auslan and spoken English is offered.Get Connected was first held in July. This is what they said 'You don't have to improve Get Connected. It's a great Zoom class!
