The Queensland Choir is celebrating its 150th anniversary with A Choral Celebration, the first concert of the 4MBS Festival of Classics concert and event series, in the majestic surrounds of Brisbane City Hall on Sunday, May 8, 2022.


The celebration will include familiar works by Handel, Haydn, Grainger and others along with lesser known works which have played significant roles in the Choir's history.


The Queensland Choir will be joined on stage by the Brisbane Symphony Orchestra and special guest soloists - Leanne Kenneally-Warnock (soprano), Shikara Ringdahl (mezzo), Virgilio Marion (tenor) and Leon Warnock (baritone). 


The concert will be narrated by Eugene Gilfedder and conducted by Kevin Power.
