Miniature art is a unique artform, yet shares all of the best qualities of larger artworks, yet none have a perimeter larger than 40 cm!
The works include drawings, paintings, original prints, mixed media, sculptures, hand-made books and more, all the best of their kind. The subject matter and techniques are just as varied, ranging from traditional landscapes and still lifes through to abstract contemporary work. Awards are given for excellence in each medium, as well as Best in Show.
Entries come from all over Australia, many artists being recognised for their larger work as well as their exquisite miniatures.
