World renowned violinist Peter Tanfield has curated a series of Chamber Music Concerts to be performed in the Long Gallery and the Peacock Theatre within Salamanca Arts Centre. In this series, Peter will be leading chamber ensembles comprising some of Tasmania's best classical musicians. This curated program showcases a rich selection of Chamber works, some of which are not so often under the spotlight; others that have been long forgotten and deserve greater recognition, and others still, that audiences love today as much as they have for over a century or more.

The first concert on 18 July will showcase the works of Ludwig van Beethoven String Trio in G major Op. 9 No.1 & Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Divertimento for String Trio in E flat major KV 563

Violin: Peter Tanfield

Viola: Janet Rutherford

Violoncello: Martin Penicka
