We have a weekly classes where acting instructor Suzy Dougherty and her team will teach you how to develop your acting skills.
Suzi Dougherty is a skilled performer with more than 20 years' experience. She is a founding member of The Bell Shakespeare Company. She has played Cheryl Braxton on Home and Away for over five years and currently appears on the show The Gloaming on Stan.
Suzi will run a 2-hour class on Tuesdays and Fridays that will include a voice warm-up, group activities and acting techniques. The class will facilitate many skills like communication, relationship building and strengthening our memory.
The class will be specifically designed with older students in mind, so all levels of physical, mental and vocal capabilities are addressed. The benefits of being involved in acting classes include better health, fewer visits to the doctors, increased social connection.
This class usually takes place at Harry Jensen and Reginald Murphy Community Centres, in Millers Point and Potts Point as part of the City of Sydney City Spaces Program.
