A concert to commemorate the official opening of the Vietnam Veterans Walk in Edithburgh on 18 August 2025.
John Schumann (ex Redgum) and his six-piece band, The Vagabond Crew, will present 'Behind the Lines: Australia at War in words and music' at the Light Church Auditorium, on Yorketown Road Edithburgh.
Beautifully played by The Vagabond Crew, the songs are linked by a moving narrative delivered by acclaimed actor, Celine O'Leary.
The narrative is drawn from newspaper reports of the day, poems, letters from the front and gentle reflections. The concert is illustrated by a carefully curated set of rare, evocative images.
This a performance not to be missed. Presented by The Entertainers, in association with the York Peninsula Community. Supported by Veterans SA
