The State Library's new exhibition ‘Keepsake: Cherished family mementos from the collection' is now open.

Keepsake offers a unique glimpse into personal histories and treasured items of high-profile identities and everyday Western Australians.

Join the celebration! The launch event and panel conversation on 19 July will explore the meeting points of science, culture, family history and art.

As an added feature, The Chin Wagon, a mobile sound recording studio, will be stationed outside the State Library. Run by much-loved storytelling collective Barefaced Stories, they will capture the story behind your most precious trinket, heirloom or item. Register your interest in one of the limited slots on the State Library's website.
