After 33 locations on the 2022 Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour, the Lexus Melbourne Cup is homeward bound, ready to shine on that first Tuesday in November, held aloft by the winner of the Lexus Melbourne Cup, the race that stops the nation.
Celebrate the iconic Cup and the heroes of the sport. A cavalcade will herald the arrival into the final destination for the 2022 Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour - Federation Square. Complete with marching band, the Lexus Melbourne Cup Cavalcade will lead a host of racing dignitaries, winning jockeys, and Melbourne Cup winning Living Legend thoroughbreds across the Princes Bridge and into Federation Square, where the official Cup Bearers - VRC Chairman Neil Wilson and Lord Mayor Sally Capp - will present the 2022 Lexus Melbourne Cup Trophy to the City of Melbourne.
Free entertainment, lunchtime snacks, photo opportunities with the Lexus Melbourne Cup and an exclusive performance by Hot Dub Time Machine will round out the day's festivities.
