For this special lockdown edition of our school holiday program, they are partnering with the ACT Heritage Library, who are developing a COVID-19 Community Archive that documents Canberrans' lives during this unprecedented time in our history. What is happening right now will one day be the subject of a vast array of studies, and in this workshop you will create a 60 to 90 second film to contribute to this very special collection. This is a unique creative multimedia opportunity to have your thoughts, feelings or everyday life experiences kept as an historical record!
Under the guidance of experienced digital storyteller - Jenni Savigny of Gen S Stories - you will write your own script, shoot and edit your film, as well as record your narration, to capture something that will be preserved for future generations. Get out your smartphone, or tablet, to document the strange new world that you have found yourself in. Your record will provide invaluable information about this significant event as it affects our community. No previous film-making experience necessary.
