Life modelling classes every Wednesday
Simple Life Drawing is a two-hour life drawing session hosted every Wednesday evening by Simple Cider and local artist Abigail Rothery. All materials are provided (paper, charcoal, pastels, and complementary nibbles), however you are welcome to bring your own art materials too.
The sessions are aimed to be for all levels and low pressure. Our primary aim is to keep it fun and approachable as Abigail instructs the session as a guide and is a willing teacher with the know how to help develop your skills.
Exercises will include creating the pose through geometric shapes, introduction of different drawing techniques, including using the non-dominant hand, working from reference lines and angles, and building up tone to create 3-dimensionality.
Class sizes are limited, bookings advised.
Admission $25 - which includes materials and nibbles.
