Festival of three concerts celebrating microtonal music.


Concert 1 features Splinter Orchestra led by Nick. Michael Hugh Dixon and Chryssy Tintner 'Our Days' - performed by Wendy Dixon and the MicroFest Horn Quartet. Olivier Messiaen 'Appel Interstellaire' for solo horn - performed by Gergely Mályusz. Laura A 'Improvisations'. Michael Hugh Dixon 'Ocean Street' - performed by MicroFest Horn Quartet - Michael Hugh Dixon, Annalisa Solinas, Gergely Mályusz, Graham Nichols


Concert 2 features Greg Schiemer 'Endless Transposition' for one or two mobile phones.

Patrick van Duerzen 'ceux qui sont venus du ciel' for recorder - performed by Kathryn Bennetts.

Justinian Tamasuza 'Okukoowoola Kw'Ekkondeere' for solo horn. Peter Bowman 'Just Two' for recorder and horn - performed by Kathryn Bennetts and Michael Hugh Dixon. Praveen Venkataramana 'Ephemeral Sởup' for horn and pre-recorded microtonal piano.


Concert 3 features Michael Bakrnčev 'Crying Leaf' for horn, trombone and tuba. Kraig Grady 'New Music'. Terumi Narushima 'Near and Far' for horn, trombone and tuba. Michael Hugh Dixon 'Flourish' for horn, trombone, tuba with pre-recorded horn ensemble. With performers Michael Hugh Dixon, Gregory van der Struik and Edwin Diefes
