During the Melbourne International Jazz Festival, drop in to the Jazz Hub for a pre-show drink and snack with DJs.
Then, after seeing a show or two, kick on at the iconic late night jams until the early hours.
Led by local legends The Rookies, these spontaneous, all improvised and unrepeatable festival-only sessions celebrate Melbourne's jazz community alongside festival artists dropping in to jam - you never know who'll end up on stage. It might be Barney McAll, The Experience, Kate K-S and Brett Williams, Natalie Slade, The Vampires, Tangents, Joe Chindamo, Melbourne Amplified Strings, Mat Jodrell Sextet, Myele Manzanza Quintet, Thando, Luke Howard Trio, Mick Nock/Julien Wilson/Jonathan Zwartz/Hamish Stuart, Ross McHenry Trio, Paul Grabowksy AO & Ngaiire and Horns of Leroy.
