Are you ready to start 2024 off with a bang?

Campbelltown Arts Centre is showcasing Telly Tuita's first solo exhibition TongPop's Great Expectations.

Telly Tuita is a Wellington-based visual artist in Australia whose exhibition centres on his childhood memories in Tonga.

Tongpop celebrates Tuita's rich relationship with his ancestral home of Tonga. It also explores his lived experiences between Australian and Aotearoa (New Zealand).

Come and delve into Tuita's Tongpop multiverse full of compelling early works of as well as his artistic practice. The exhibition encourages one to recognise their own life in Tuita's story, especially the conflict between great expectations of ourselves and the expectations of our contemporary world.
