Come help celebrate the 7th anniversary of World Mangrove Day with the Environment Centre Volunteers of Boondall Wetlands Environment Centre. Join us as we raise awareness and celebrate the importance of mangroves for people and our planet.
This event will include fun and free activities for people of all ages to do thought out the morning:
- Native bush food stall
- Guided walks of the useful plants and Billai Dhagun Track
- Craft activities
- Bush Kindy Scavenger hunt
- Wildlife presentation (10am-11am)
We have free native plant give-away for those who come celebrate with us- we want to encourage everyone who joins to contribute in a positive way to their local ecosystem and make their own backyard a little more native.
