This is a free one-off event for older adults to celebrate the Seniors Festival.
Our tutor Christine Glover has been teaching Yoga full time for 26 years and is a qualified Senior Yoga Australia teacher having trained in the system of Yoga in Daily Life. As a Senior Yoga and Meditation teacher her focus is on Gentle Yoga for healing body, mind and spirit.
In the hour class we will practice relaxation, gentle movement for the joints, breathing techniques, postural yoga asana for strength and improved range of movement and meditation. Suitable for all levels of fitness
Yoga can improve your strength, balance and flexibility, it can also relax you and therefore help you sleep better.

City of Sydney's Reginald Murphy Community Centre is open Monday to Friday 9.30am until 3.30pm. There is a table tennis table, computers, a Justice of the Peace, WIFI, books to borrow, a piano to play and sewing machines to use and tea and coffee all for free. A weekly community lunch is held on Wednesdays at 12 noon for $8. Everyone Welcome!
