The Adelaide Street Circuit is world renowned both for the excellent racing and the race atmosphere that takes over the city. The 3.219 km (2.000 mi) circuit has played host for the Adelaide 500 Supercars event since 1999 with the last event in 2020. The 2022 VALO Adelaide 500 will be returning to the streets of Adelaide from 1-4 December as the season finale event for the Repco Supercars Championship. This will be the first race in almost 3 years, and the 23rd time the cars will make their way around the famous street circuit. The event program is well advanced and will include a significant number of events across the action packed weekend including charity luncheons with Supercar drivers, driver autograph sessions, exotic vehicle displays, sideshows, family entertainment and much more. As the action on the track draws to a close, the action off the track revs up with some of Australia's and the worlds biggest acts talking to the stage in the scenic surrounds of the Adelaide parklands. The significance of the Adelaide 500 as an event of true national and international renown was highlighted in 2005 when the legendary motor sport authority Murray Walker, while visiting the event for the first time, described it as the 'best touring car event in the world See new events on our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxqKJcD5y33GNFEcVDXxjsw/video
