Chengdu, located in southwest China, is the capital city of Sichuan province. It is the birthplace of ancient Shu civilization and the homeland of pandas.

China Cultural Centre in Sydney (CCC) will be beautifully decorated to celebrate the Chinese New Year. We sincerely welcome our Australian friends to share this special moment and new year with us while appreciating artworks!

The exhibition starts with the brocade and embroidery of Chegndu, using silver for painting, bamboo and wood for ware, showing the glory of lacquer and pottery, and presenting the legends of New Year wood block paintings and shadow puppets, bringing together nearly 100 pieces of Sichuan handicraft exhibits.

Discover the splendid traditional handicrafts and intangible cultural heritage from Sichuan to celebrate the Chinese New Year of Tiger in 2022!
