As part of their 60th anniversary celebrations, The Australian Ballet has created an outdoor showcase spectacular. The all-ages free event will feature excerpts from the upcoming season of Don Quixote, as well as sections from Le Corsaire and Kunstkamer. Also in the line-up is Lucas Jervies' piece The Vow, and an excerpt from I New Then, a playful, upbeat ballet set to music from Van Morrison by Johan Inger. Joined onstage by the 64-piece orchestra, audience members will be swept away by Orchestra Victoria's soaring scores and impressive overtures, including pieces from Swan Lake under the baton of new Music Director Jonathan Lo.
