Experience a culture rich in music, movement and colour - 'Into the Light'. Global Fusion - India, will sweep you away on an incredible journey through dance, song and food with each phase of the show representing an aspect of "light", to honour and celebrate the festival of Deepavali/Diwali. This unique event represents the flame of a candle guiding the way to hope, joy, prosperity, and peace with sublime choreography to the dynamic sounds of instruments including the tabla, embodying darkness to light.  Featuring a stellar line up of musicians, including Indian Fusion singer and BEMAC Producer, Menaka Thomas, internationally acclaimed Tabla player Dheeraj Shrestha; piano virtuoso Meg Burstow; percussion maestro Tsoof Baras and renowned Bansuri player, Darshil Shah. Enjoy a special Garba Fusion dance by Nishaan Dance Group, plus works choreographed by Queensland Ballet Creative Associate and Global Fusion Curator, Rani Luther, for former Queensland Ballet dancers Sarah Thomson and Jayden Grogan.  Audiences will experience a vibrant, one-of-a-kind experience. Sharing passionately my Indian roots with the wider community is incredibly special. Be uplifted by this spiritual journey with the dynamic sounds and movement from all across India.
