Light Up Lyneham is an outdoor community event focused on a sunset Lantern Walk from Lyneham Shops to Lyneham Wetlands and return. Participants are encouraged to carry lanterns or other light-producing items, so becoming part of the spectacle. Many light installations are placed around the wetlands, providing delight and amusement to the participants. A number of community stalls set up near the shops, selling snacks or various goods. Entertainment is provided by a series of light musical performances.
