International and diaspora pan-Asians are invited to participate in a 'found poetry' workshop with Panda Wong, with the opportunity to contribute to A Place Like Home online publication.
International and diaspora pan-Asians are invited participate in a 'found poetry' workshop with the multi-published, digitally synchronic poet and editor, Panda Wong. Using the minutiae of our lived experiences and found materials (such as receipts, notes, post-its, messages, obsessions, facts, letters, etc) as a starting point, you will play with collage, cut-up poetry and Exquisite Corpse to reflect on personal archives and how they connect to memory, home and place.
For this workshop, bring along a piece of found material to engage in a playful moment of reflection, construction or deconstruction, of the ephemera that shapes our everyday lives.
Lunch will be provided, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options.
