Emma Knights is bringing Moonlit Knights to the Adelaide Botanic Garden under November's Gemini Full Moon. Under this moon and a blanket of stars, you can sit in the gardens and be serenaded by the sounds of piano music performed by Emma Knights with a special guest, Hamish Netting on cello. Bring your picnic rug, pillows and chairs and make yourself as comfortable as possible.
The concert will run from approximately 8 pm for around an hour and a half allowing time to bathe under the moon. Gates will open from 7.30 pm and the concert will take place on the lawns south of the Museum of Economic Botany.
Entry via the Friend's Gate on Plane Tree Drive where plenty of parking is available.
Please note there will be no food/drink services available. You are welcome to bring a picnic and hot drinks. Strictly no alcohol can be brought into the Garden. There are public toilets nearby, no steep climbs to get to the performance space, and buggies will be available.
Artwork by Liz Hurstle.
*Please note that clear skies and sightlines of the moon cannot be guaranteed. In the case of rain or extreme weather, the event will be cancelled and full refunds will be given.
