Join us for an after hours event championing First Nations voices, celebrating and discussing the issues that matter to us.

This event is part of the Nights at the Museum program, as the Museum opens its doors every Thursday evening in January to March.

  • Dobby + Barkaa live performance and in conversation in the Westpac Long Gallery.

  • Salllvage will be spinning in the Hintze Hall.

  • Why You Can't Speak For Us - a discussion on representation, race and resilience hosted by Sara Khan of FBI's Race Matters in the Westpac Long Gallery

  • Truth Telling short First Nations Gallery tours every 30 minutes. Free with limited capacity. Book at Crystal Hall main entry on arrival.

  • Weaving workshops and jewellery making with First Nations artisans.

  • Visit the exhibitions Tyrannosaurs - Meet the Family (paid ticket required) and Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year.

  • Become a Member and discover more of the AM on a Meet the New Museum Member only tours. Book at the Members Lounge on arrival.

Open to all. Recommended for adults and youth ages 13 years and over. Bookings are essential for this free event. Tickets available at the door subject to availability.
