Why not visit the Australian Museum after hours?
Across summer the Australian Museum will be opening its doors until 9pm on Thursdays for visitors to delve into its newly renovated and reopened spaces. Visit after work or a day in the sun and wander through the summer blockbuster Tyrannosaurs - Meet the Family (paid ticket required), shake your bones to the tunes of an awesome line-up of DJs and relax at the pop-up bar.
Tickets are not required for Nights at the Museum, however guests are required by the NSW Government to register their details on arrival for COVID-19 contact-tracing purposes.

Join us for an after hours event championing First Nations voices, celebrating and discussing the issues that matter to us.
DOBBY and Barkaa live performance, and at 5.30pm in conversation in the Westpac Long Gallery.
Salllvage will be spinning in the Hintze Hall.
Why You Can't Speak For Us - a discussion on representation, race and resilience hosted by Sara Khan of FBI's Race Matters in the Westpac Long Gallery at 6.30pm.
Truth Telling short First Nations Gallery tours every 30 minutes. Free with limited capacity. Book at Crystal Hall main entry on arrival.
Weaving workshops and jewellery making with First Nations artisans.
