Two local lineups - Sistas in Song and Wallabindi (and Friends) will be performing on Friday the 31st of May starting at 8pm and entry is free!
In the spirit of reconciliation the Canberra Irish Club is proud to present this special National Reconciliation Week music event which embraces the 2024 theme: Now More than Ever. Featuring performances from two of Canberra's finest First Nations lineups - Sistas in Song and Wallabindi + Friends - we will be hosting a night of yarns song truth telling and hope.
Set 1 will be Sistas in Song performing a selection of iconic songs from First Nations artists interweaved with some storytelling and personal reflections.
Set 2 Wallabindi will then take to the stage with a full band of her incredibly talented friends (Belle Whyte John Coates Jon Jones and Rob Campton) to engage you in truth song and thought provoking reflections.
