This showcased event has concluded.
Get active outdoors and help contribute to a cleaner, greener Brisbane by helping plant trees, ensuring that Brisbane's natural habitat cover is connected, healthy and safe for local wildlife.
This event celebrates the Rakali - one of Australia's only two amphibious mammals (the platypus is the other). Come and find out more about this cute, mostly aquatic animal that has been described as an "Australian otter", with sightings in many creeks across Brisbane.
This planting event will support and promote the local fauna in the area, enhancing our Clean, Green and Sustainable city. Participants will receive their own free native plants, to help build even more habitat in their own yards. Enjoy some music and kids games too.
