Celebrating 150 years of this beautiful church! Wesley Church was opened in April 1870. It is one of the few remaining 19th century colonial buildings in the city. Schedule your visit so you can not only view the building but enjoy one of the wonderful performances scheduled over the weekend. A warm welcome and beautiful music awaits with specialist performances by Wesley musicians and the Chimera Ensemble, one of Perth's premier classical music groups presenting a free concert of enchanting, uplifting and virtuosic chamber music. Continuing a 150 years tradition of music in the heart of the City for the people.
FRIDAY
1pm-1.45pm: 'Wesley at One' Recital Series featuring artists from the Song Company presenting 'Dances of Passion'.
SongCo Salon: Beautiful voices and exquisite harmonies in sublime song featuring Australia's leading vocal ensemble, The Song Company.
The Song Company's Ensemble Artists will entertain with this program of Brahms's energetic "Liebeslieder Waltzes" and the touching Tonadillas en un stile antiguo by Enrique Granados. Warning: this performance contains wonderful young voices, beautiful music, and theatrical elements!

12.30pm-1.30pm: Wesley Music Scholars with Angela Currie (piano) showcasing some of Perth's top young performers in a recital that's sure to delight. Bring along your lunch to enjoy in the historic surrounds of Wesley Church while listening to some beautiful music.
3pm-4pm: Chimera Ensemble, one of Perth's premier classical music groups presenting a concert of enchanting, uplifting and virtuosic chamber music.
