Senses and Sensors S2 is a collaboration to showcase talented RMIT students and provides opportunities to collaborate as a community of students across the Fashion Design, Shoes, Making Textiles, Electronic Engineering, Fine Arts, Communications and Industrial Design departments. DJs from The Bass Collective and Nevey will showcase their original playlist mix music to hype up your senses. This is a multi-disciplinary collaboration to exhibit 'technology wearables' (interactive garments). The garments are installed with sensors that pick-up movement, sounds and touch, and will interact with the audience through movement and ignition of lights within the garments. This event is part of Melbourne Design Week 2023, an initiative of the Victorian Government in collaboration with the NGV.
