The goal of Science in the Pub is to promote understanding of and enthusiasm for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in the general public. Their monthly gatherings are held on the last Friday of each month. Science in the Pub brings together anyone who may or may not consider themselves scientists, in the shared interest of understanding, critiquing, debating, and learning more about current issues in science.
Join them for their illuminating exploration into light and biology, where we will explore optogenetics, spectroscopy, chemometrics and more.

Please join them on Friday 30th August at the Adelaide Irish Club). The event kicks off at 6:00 pm and will finish by ~7:30 pm. Doors open at 5:30 pm. All drinks are to be purchased at the bar but guests are welcome to bring their own food. Attendance is free, but please register so the venue can set up seating. We recommend arriving early to secure your preferred seating.
