A new cabaret show in celebration of the cocktail, with solo performer Dianna Nixon reading the tall tales and delicious recipes in Charles H Baker's famous cocktail book from 1939, peppered with a selection of iconic rock songs.
Arrive from 6.30ish to order a meal from the wide range of cuisines downstairs in Verity Lane Market, which will be served to you upstairs at your table in the cocktail bar/cabaret room, Louie Louie Gin Bar.
For the very committed, there is a cocktail degustation available for an extra $45 - five recipes from Charles H Baker's book, ranging from a classic G & T, to the World Famous Quarantine Cocktail.
There is lift access from the ground floor and this is an Auslan interpreted show.
The Gentleman's Companion is created and performed by Dianna Nixon, who also provides the musical backings (pre-recorded & live), with dramaturgy and performance direction by Christopher Samuel Carroll.
