Give your kids the gift of a digital detox by spending time in nature.
‘Wild Walks' is a unique program where educators guide children on an exploratory journey in the National Arboretum, introducing them to various special trees and their unique characteristics. They will be encouraged to explore their imagination, interact with natural materials and outdoor environments fostering a deep appreciation for nature.
Drop the kids off knowing they will have a wild time. Wild Walks is a 2 hour program and bookings are essential.
Important Information:
Moderate fitness is required, and sturdy covered footwear is essential.
If the weather is very warm, water games may be added to the session.
If your child requires any additional support, please be in touch prior to booking so that their educators can discuss options with you.
The program will still run in rain - There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing so please pack suitable clothing for the weather forecast for the day.
It can be very windy at the Arboretum so a windproof layer is recommended.
Bring a nut free lunch, morning tea and a bottle of water.
More detailed information will be sent prior to the day.
